East Pennine Orienteering Club are excited to invite you to the 2nd of our Kirklees Urban MapRun Series
At this event we are offering Long, Medium and Short courses on the new Dalton Urban Orienteering map.
Control site confirmation and course timing will use the MapRun GPS phone-based APP which you should download before you start.
Parking: The Dram Community and Sports Centre, Ridgeway, Dalton HD5 9QR
Public Transport:
No. 371 leaves Huddersfield Westgate for Ridgeway, Dalton.
It takes about 20 minutes to reach the DRAM Centre on Ridgeway.
Starts: Anytime between 10.30a.m. and 12.30p.m.
Maps showing the course will be distributed from the car park.
Start and Finish: 50m from parking.
Terrain: Urban housing with ginnels and grassed area
We would like to encourage new and developing navigators as well as experienced Orienteers.
Help and advice with navigation freely given.
