A festive round of the KNC in the north-east area of the Kent Downs. Mixed forest with interesting contour features and intricate paths on a newly remapped area.

Online advance registration only. 60 minute Score course. Gather at 7:20pm for briefing & Mass Start. Don't be late!

Parking is at Rose & Crown pub, Perry Wood, Selling, nr Faversham, Kent. Nearest postcode ME13 9RY. Please use the car park to the rear (south side) of the pub first.

Apres-O & prizegiving: Apres O will be in the Rose & Crown pub. Food (entirely optional) is available for pre-ordering on the day prior to the start. Please then pay for your own food when you have finished your run and go into the the pub.


If you are new to Orienteering and would like some additional help before attending an event, please check the appropriate box on the entry form and the event organiser will be in touch. There are also some helpful youtube introductory videos to watch. One by a nearby London club Newcomer Guide and another from a Manchester based club Getting Started

Location

Score 60 mins
60 minute score suitable for all abilities. 22 controls numbered 90 – 111; visit as many as you can in any order. Bonus points are available, please see Saxons website for full details.

Juniors (age 15 or younger) are welcome to take part but must be accompanied by an adult (condition of British Orienteering insurance), as there are road sections/crossings as part of the course.

Group: where people are running together as a Group (member/non-member)

Juniors are under 21 on 31st December.

Basic non-SIAC dibber (electronic timing device) available for loan

If you withdraw before the event, you will automatically receive a credit note for use against future Saxon events.

Timing
You should make every reasonable effort to arrive at the event in time for your allocated start time or start window, including allowing extra time to travel to the venue where necessary.

Conduct
You must adhere to the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct.

Medical conditions
Competitors take part at their own risk. If you have an existing Medical Condition of which the Organisers should be aware, please complete a Medical Form which can be downloaded from the Event Details on the Saxons website and hand to the Organiser in a sealed envelope. This can be collected once you have downloaded, or will be destroyed at the end of the event.

Results
Results will not be on display at the event. Split prints available. Final results can be accessed on Saxons website after the event.
