Hindleap Warren is a mixture of open heathland and woodland, with some complex contour detail.



Online advance registration only. Start between 10.30-12.30pm. Courses Close at 2.30pm.

If you wish to compete as a group, you should select group entry and provide the number of other team members in the field provided, (only team leader needs to enter. Group entry fee covers all entrants).

        Senior Novice: £8.00
        Junior/Student: £6.00/£8.00
    Group (2-5 people e.g. family running Score course together)
        Entry Fee: £12.00/£15.00
From 17th November:
    Late Entry Individual (member/non-member)
        Senior: £17.00/£20.00
        Senior Novice: £8.00
        Junior/Student: £6.00/£8.00

Juniors are under 21 on 31st December.

Basic non-SIAC dibber (electronic timing device) available for hire free of charge. SIAC dibbers available for hire for £2.00.

Senior Novice Fees apply to individual adults on an Orange, Yellow or White course.
Event Information

If you need to withdraw prior to the event, you will automatically receive a credit note for use against future Saxon events.

Parking/Transport/Facilities
Parking at Michael Hall School, Kidbrooke Park, Priory Road
Forest Row, East Sussex, RH18 5JA.
There are 8 parking areas, around the school buildings - please follow the parking marshals for directions.

Toilets are available in the Clockhouse building at the School.

Dogs are not allowed in the school grounds.

Newcomers and Beginners
If you are new to Orienteering and would like some additional help before attending an event, please check the appropriate box on the entry form and the event organiser will be in touch. There are also some helpful youtube introductory videos to watch. One by a nearby London club Newcomer Guide and another from a Manchester based club Getting Started

Timing, Start/Finish and Race Information
Contactless electronic timing enabled for the event, (SIAC), although a basic timing dibber can also be used, (basic timing devices provided free of charge if you don't have one). Punching Start & Finish.

Enquiries opens at 10.00am. Starts 10.30am-12.30pm. Courses close 2.30pm. Please remember to download before you leave.

There are two starts. The near start for White, Yellow, Orange and Light green courses is 900m + 25m climb from the School. The far start for Very short green, Short green, Green, Short blue, Blue, Short brown, Brown and Black courses is 1200m + 30m climb from the School. The walk to both starts is the same and is signed / taped, through the valley of the Kidbrooke Park Grade 2 listed grounds design attributed to Humphrey Repton.

A clothing dump is available on the edge of the School grounds before the forest (please bring a waterproof bag to put your warm clothing in).

The finish is in the vicinity of the starts.

There are no road crossings on route to the start.

Conduct
You must adhere to the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct.

Results
Results will not be on display at the event. Split prints available. Final results will be posted to Saxons website after the event.
