The Wessex Night League 2024 Event 5
A standard 60 minute score event using SIAC enabled SI control stations on small O-kites

Map: 1:5000 overprinted with control codes and score values.
Terrain: 80% of the map is urban and 20% is meadow. Decent lights recommended!
Format: The course is a straight 60-minute score course using SIAC enabled SI control stations on small O kites.
Course and score information: You have 60 minutes to go from the start to the finish via as many controls as possible. You gain points for each control visited but you lose 10 points per minute – or part minute late back. Points per control may vary from 10 to 50. Bonus points (5 per minute under the hour) are available but ONLY if you manage to visit every control.

Juniors are under 21 on 31st December. Senior: £7. Senior SI card hire: £1. Juniors £4 (must be accompanied by an adult), Junior card hire: Free.
The cost of the meal is £8 - select your meal option and pay when you enter.

Location: Royal British Legion, Church Lane, Blandford Forum DT11 7AD
Parking: Some parking available opposite the British Legion and by the Post Office. If full please park in Ham and Marsh Car Park, DT11 7AW, and walk directly through the marketplace to the British Legion with no diversions.

On Racesignup by 25 Nov 24. Entries after this is subject to map availability but food cannot be ordered after this date.
Offers to collect controls at the end of the evening would be a great help, If you can help please tick the box on the entry form.
Safety
Safety: Hi-viz clothing/ vests, backup light and whistles are mandatory. Under 16s must be always accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on their course. Competitors are responsible for their own safety at all times and should be aware of fast-moving traffic on the course. If you have a medical condition, please write it on a piece of paper and leave in a sealed envelope with the organiser; uncollected envelopes will be destroyed after the event.

Post-event food: The British Legion are providing a Chilli and Rice which can be preordered on RaceSignup at a cost of £8. There is a meat and vegetarian option. Please select your choice on Racesignup. This must be paid for by the 25 Nov 24.
