Boxing Day Canter 2025
One hour score with a mass start at 11am.
25 controls, each worth 10 points.
3 bonus controls - Father Christmas, Christmas tree and fairies - each worth 50 points.
Controls will be SIAC air enabled (punch the finish). NB hired dibbers are not SIAC - you will need to punch every control.
Map is on A3 at 1:10,000.
Location
Moors Valley Country Park - use main entrance off Horton Road.
Parking:
Parking will be in the overflow car park, charged at £3 via a QR code issued when parking.

Course:
Score course with 25 controls as well as Father Christmas, a Christmas tree and Fairies for an extra 50 points each. Punching using SI system.
Results will be available on the club website.
Facilities:
Toilets and cafe in Visitor Centre.
Dogs are allowed in Moors Valley but must be kept under control.
Timings:
Registration will be open from 10am. Please make sure that you collect any hired dibbers by 10:45am in time for the mass start at 11am.
Course closes 1pm.
Cancellation:
Cancellation is a last resort, however if very bad weather is forecast or some unforeseen event makes it necessary to cancel, a notice will be placed on the WIM website www.wimborne-orienteers.co.uk We will also send an email via the Racesignup system. If the event is cancelled, Wimborne Orienteers reserve the right to retain part of the entry fee to cover un-recoverable costs.
