Event number 2 in the WIM/WSX Summer League 2025
The second physical event in the WSX/WIM Summer Series for 2025.
The course is a 60 minute straight score (no "odds and evens" or other variations) using SIAC enabled SI control stations with O kites.
There will also be a free beginner's course, suitable for families, novices & younger juniors, which use the Great Field area only, with no road crossings, which you can enter on the day. This course is part of the Dorset Council's 'Give it a Go' activity scheme.

Summer League Score-1 hour score course

There are two courses.:
The Summer League course is a 60 minute Score course which uses the Poundbury Estate urban area. Juniors must be accompanied.
The' Give it a Go' course will be confined to the Great Field with no road crossings
Junior/Student: £3.00
Juniors are under 21 on race day.
I hour Summer League score course £7.00, Junior £3
There is no charge for dibber hire (but £30 if you lose it!)
There is free entry on the day only for the Dorset Council 'Give it a Go' activity
Pavilion in the Park, St Johns Way, Poundbury, Dorchester DT1 2FG. No dogs allowed. Plenty of free parking nearby
Map 1:5,000, 5m contour interval, urban specification, A3 map printed on waterproof paper. Redrawn and extended 2022, updated 2025 for this event.
Terrain: Poundbury Estate – very intricate in parts – including open parkland and recreation areas

for League competitors plus free “Give it a Go” activity for beginners
Facilities Toilets at Assembly. Lunches, drinks, cake at Pavilion in the Park cafe
(Also plenty of other food outlets nearby in Poundbury and Dorchester)

Fees Online entry only for Summer League: Seniors £7 Juniors £3 (by 1st May 2025)
Sport Ident electronic punching will be used (SIAC enabled)
