Toilets
There are no toilets at the event.

To Assembly area and the Start
Start and finish are within 200m of the car park and assembly, just on the far side of Farley Heath Rd. This crossing will be marshalled.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome
Please keep them on a lead in the assembly/start/finish areas.

On your course
Green and Blue courses cross the road twice at a marshalled crossing. The road is fairly quiet, but traffic can travel fast – please obey the marshal’s instructions. There are no road crossings on the White, Yellow or Orange courses.

The terrain is undulating with a mix of sandy heathland and managed forest. The bracken is still low in most areas, but is beginning to grow fast as are areas of bramble. As far as possible the courses avoid the worst of this.

There has been extensive forestry work in the area south of Farley Heath Rd, leaving areas of brashings and some unmapped, rutted tracks. Generally the area is dry underfoot, but a few places can get muddy after rain.

There are (very few) small sections of ruined wire fence on the ground between and within some of the forest areas – take care!

There are a lot of controls in the area to the south of the road – check code numbers carefully!

Beware of rabbit holes in the sandy heathland areas!

Results
Please download promptly after you finish your course. Results will not be on display at the event. Final results will be published on the Guildford Orienteers website after the event.

Participant Code of Conduct
