60 minute straight score

Get your head torch charged for this first event in the Wessex Region Night League for 2025/26. It's all enclosed in an unlit park. Event centre is the Meyrick Park Clubhouse with food and drink available. The course is a 60 minute straight score (no "odds and evens" or other variations) using SIAC enabled SI control stations on small O kites.
Food orders (jacket potato choice on entry form) can only be taken up to Oct 13th, so don't delay. Because we have to pre-order, please understand that this component will not be refundable.

Event Information

WRNL1 at Meyrick Park is the 1st event of the 2025/26 schedule of Wessex Region Night League score events.

Start and Finish Times
Starts are from 6:30 p.m. (or earlier if dark enough) to 7:15 p.m.
Course closes at 8:15 p.m. Please try to be back by then or you may find controls have been collected in.

Timing
SI (Sport Ident) timing control boxes (SIAC enabled) hung on small O kites.
Dibber (SI Card 5) hire is available for £1.
Printed Score showing splits will be provided at download.
Results will be available on-line later on the same night.

Terrain
Undulating park land on the golf course, rugby pitches and surrounding wooded areas

Parking
Free parking available next to the venue. Drive past Reception and the Club House to the far end where the car park is located. Event centre is the Club House.What3Words location here

Course and Score Information
You have 60 minutes from the Start to Finish via as many controls as you can.
You gain points for each control visited but you lose 10 points per minute – or part minute over the hour.
Points per control may vary from 10 to 50 points at some events, so check your map and plan your route before you start.
Bonus points (10 per minute under the hour) are available but ONLY if you manage to visit every control.
