60 minute straight score

Welcome to the 7th WRNL event of the 2025/26 season. You will be running on a brand new map of the streets and parks around the Yachtsman pub. The course is a 60 minute straight score (no "odds and evens" or other variations) using SIAC enabled SI control stations on small O kites.
Food can be ordered on the night but please order before you run. A pdf of the menu (current as of Nov 1st) is available to view here. The kitchen stops serving at 8 p.m.
Full credit withdrawals available until the night before, so don't hold back.

Event Information

Start and Finish Times
Starts are from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Course closes at 7:45 p.m. Please try to be back by then or you may find controls have been collected in.

Timing
SI (Sport Ident) timing control boxes (SIAC enabled) hung on small O kites.
Dibber (SI Card 5) hire is available for £1.
Printed Score showing splits will be provided at download.
Results will be available on-line later on the same night.

High Viz & Torches
All participants should wear high-vis clothing and be carrying a torch

Terrain
Streets and parks.
Please take care when crossing all roads. The Blandford Road, which runs north to south on the map can be busy.

Parking
Free parking at the venue and in the surrounding streets. Event centre is the Yachtsman pub.

Control Descriptions are not printed on the map. Loose Control Descriptions will be available. Note there are a couple of controls where the specific location detail on the CDs may be important.

Course and Score Information
You have 60 minutes from the Start to Finish via as many controls as you can.
You gain points for each control visited but you lose 10 points per minute – or part minute over the hour.
Points per control may vary from 10 to 50 points at some events, so check your map and plan your route before you start.
Bonus points (10 per minute under the hour) are available but ONLY if you manage to visit every control.
