When you register for a place in an event listed on racesignup.co.uk we will process information about you. The lawful basis for collecting this information is performance of a contract with you or necessary for our legitimate interests to ensure your safety and the safety of others or to protect our rights or to ensure the proper operation of our website and our business or to prevent and detect fraudulent activity security incidences and criminal activities.

You may choose to save information provided during the entry process to your account on racesignup.co.uk. Saved information is brought forward to subsequent entries. You have control over that information and can review, edit or remove it at any time by logging in to Your account.
Your payment card details are held separately by our payment service provider Stripe, Inc. and neither Racesignup Ltd, the event organisers nor clubs have access to this data.

When you make a payment transaction Stripe will give you the opportunity to store your payment card details for future use. This uses a service called "Link with Stripe". Full details of this service can be found here. On the Link website you can log in to your account to manage your saved cards and addresses and delete your Link account.
We will share your information securely with the Event Organiser of the specific event that you have entered solely for the purpose of managing your entry in their event.
We will securely store your personal information including your email address and contact telephone number for the purpose of keeping you informed about the event you have entered.
These contact details may be used to send you information about your entry to your chosen event
Your name and club will be published in an entry list as part of the event information posted on the site. The publishing of this information stops on the day following the event.
During and after an event the Event Organiser may publish the results on racesignup.co.uk and/or race-results.info.
The lawful basis for presenting this information is necessary for our legitimate interests to ensure the proper operation of our website and our business.
The results lists will include your name, bib number, position and finishing time and depending on the particular event may include age/gender category, club and other applicable information.
Any request for removing published results information needs to be made in the first instance to the Event Organiser.
If requested by the Event Organiser we may provide results information to them and to other applicable organisations such as National Governing Bodies.
